The Blooming Rose – Signifies the divine intervention that brings life, beauty, and joy to an otherwise barren and desolate land.

The Sunflower – Symbolizes hope, promise, and faith in nature. The flower signifies that there is always life after death because it continues to bloom despite all odds stacked against it.

The Primrose – Signifies new life, everlasting existence, protection, safety, hope, and divine love. It’s medicinal purposes aid in the healing of skin and other ailments of the bone and aging.

The Gladiolus – Associated with gladiators and is a symbol of strength of character, faithfulness, moral integrity, and remembrance. It was used for medicinal purposes to aid in healing, including removing thorns and other debris that had been lodged underneath skin.

There are times, out of moral obligation and to maintain sanity, that an explanation needs to be given on a decision that was made.

There are times, out of self-realization, that the honest truth of self needs no verbal explanation. It’s in those times that the body, the eyes, and internal being will showcase in a way that an explanation with words is not needed.

This is one of those times.

I am grateful for one day at a time.

I am stronger today than I was yesterday.

I chose these flowers because they remind me of who I am, where I feel safe, and to whom my strength is drawn from.

My journey.

My strength.

My acknowledgement.

My sobriety.

My hope.

My life.
